Can I treat my executive functioning disorder with adderall or ritalin?

I know that everyone with ADD and ADHD has executive functioning disorder but not everyone with executive functioning disorder has ADD/ADHD. Executive functioning disorder is the brains inability manage time, strategize, analyze and organize efficiently. I managed well all through high school and middle school because I had teachers and my parents keeping me organized and scheduled, but now that I am off at college I find my executive functioning is making getting work done extremely difficult. I'm going to talk to my doctor about this but I just want your opinions first.
