Does Ritalin give you a high when you have ADD?

I got diagnosed with ADD today and I got 36mg pills of Ritalin and I'm supposed to take one every morning. I've researched this medicine and found that for people with ADD it helps them foucs but it makes people without ADD or ADHD have a different affect. Will I still feel this "high" even with ADD. And I'm not taking this for that reason I'm taking it for a real focus issue but if it comes with a good feeling I guess it's just an added benefit (:
