I have adhd and i think my child does to.?

I have three children a boy aged 3 another boy aged 1 and a half and a little girl aged 9 weeks. As a child i was diagnosed with ADHD and also have been diagnosed with ADHD as an adult. My middle child who is one and a half i believe is also ADHD because he is always active more so than a normal child of his age, he is also clumsy and heavy handed and when i tell him off he just laughs at me. When he was a new born baby i couldn't take him anywhere because he has an extremely high pitch scream i really did think at the time i was failing as a mother but as i realised that he was just an extremely difficult baby. Anyone with a child with ADHD knows the normal punishments like the naughty step or time out don't work on an ADHD child as they have not got the same mentality as a normal child of that age. Anybody who has not brought up an ADHD child will not understand that and believe that it is the parenting. I am now 25 with 3 kids and know what hell my mother went though bringing me up and anyone bringing up an ADHD child i admire you for having to put with the people who don't know what there talking about! i left school when i was 14 with no GCSE and i have found it extremely difficult to keep a job for more than a year.ritalin made me very depressed so i didn't take it but i have found new strategy's to cope with my condition. I am now doing a law degree and am not going to let my adhd hold me back i am just learning to cope in different ways to most people. I hope with my own ADHD i will be able to understand my little boy better than someone without the condition. Anyone who wants any information from me please feel free to write on here.
