My four year old child is running around the house constantly?

Usually I just close her into her room, but she's been scratching up my carpet lately so I've been forced to let her out. All she does is run around the house and knock things over, singing nursery rhymes and generally causing havoc. Unfortunately, since she has half of my genetic coding she's an adorable little rascal so I feel kind of remorseful about tying her up outside (I know, I should be sterner, it's just that my DNA is really beyond cute). Oh, and when I send her off to preschool she comes back with these HIDEOUS paintings. I'm a painter, so I naturally have high expectations of her but this work is atrocious. I've been trying to find some creative ways to dispose of it, like using the garbage disposal, running it through the dishwasher (actually an improvement) and feeding it to my lovely pet sharks and alligators. AND she's wetting her bed. She's really a monster disguised as a girl. You've seen Monsters Inc, right? Where the girl dresses up like a monster? Well this is the exact opposite. Anyway, I'm coming to you fellow parents because I'm not sure if Ritalin or Aderall would be a better option? Which one is cheaper? Which one will shut her up the best? Thanks for your expertise on this important matter!
