Pain in my lower left abdomen above my hip bone?

All day the pain has been worsening and it feels like there is a bruise there but there is no sign of one, I have not been hit there or anything. I'm becoming short of breathe and light headed and the pain is getting sharper and I was wondering what it was because I don't know what organs are even located there?
